About the Author:
Born in San Diego, Jeff Kacirk received an early dose of Shakespeare when growing up near the world-class Old Globe Theatre. Thus began his fascination with English, prompting him to explore various aspects of bygone times. He became a chiropractor, but found his passion for social history and linguistics unquenchable. He also lived in Paris, New York and New Orleans and in London — where he researched many of his 20 calendars and three of his books. He now divides this time between writing and treating patients in the San Francisco Bay Area.
